Tomorrow the 25th of May it will be the one year anniversary that our boy Butchy left us for the Rainbow Bridge. We still miss him so very much. But we know he is with Angel Snickers and they are having a grand time.
Mama started this blog for Angel Butchy & Angel Snickers over 6 years ago. With both of them now Angels, we decided it was time to retire their blog. It was a very hard decision to make but feel it is for the best.
A big thank you to EVERYONE that has visited our blog!

We will miss you all. Of course we were relative latecomers to your blog and did not know Snickers, and Butchy not that well. But Bertie and I loved reading about pretty Katie, so near to him in age, and later her Sparky little brother.
But we do understand that blogs are not forever. We'd like to thank you for for the pleasure you've brought us with this blog, and wish you and all the creatures of Mutton Hollow all the best for future projects.

We started blogging not long after you did, and got to know Butchy and Snickers, and many other friends along the way. We ran out of ooomph to write, but we kept reading. Blogging is a strange thing, it becomes a chore sometimes. But also it lets us travel on this journey with others. There have been tears, and laughs, and everything in between.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I understand that you may have had enough of blogging. But if you return to it in a few year's time we'll still be here, delighted to hear how Katie is ruling the roost and what the cats are up to. We're all somehow part of each other's stories.

Butchy and Snickers were one of our first friends and we do miss them. We certainly hope that one day you will feel like starting another blog as we would love to follow Katie and Sparky's adventures and of course all the other residents of Mutton Hollow.

Oh how sad, but understandable. It's hard to believe it has been a year since Butchy made his journey to the bridge. We are sending hugs, knowing this decision to close the blog must have been difficult. Hopefully, we will see a new blog soon.
