GROOMING TIME!

Hey Pals,

It's me Katie.  Low and behold, Mama plopped me onto the grooming table this morning.  She said I look like a wooly lamb with my long hair.  So it was time for strip, clip and scissor time.

My hairdo isn't totally done yet, she needs to strip the longer hairs from my legs and a few touch up areas.

The sunlight coming through our skylights messed up this photo:

And of course my tail is not upright, I'm still a bit camera shy.

It's hard to believe I'm already 1 year 9 months old.  Seems like just yesterday I was a wee one like Sparky, losing my pupper toofers and acting silly.  Speaking of toofers, after Mama worked on my hair, Sparky got my furs all bloody again from wrestling with me.  One of his big molars has poked through the gum and keeps bleeding.  Yesterday he lost his other bottom puppy fang and got me bloody.  Here is his toofer:

It sure is hard work helping your brudder pull out his puppy tooth.  We wrestled and played bitey face for hours before the tooth popped.  I was tuckered out afterwards:

We took some photos of Sparky today too.  He is 21 weeks old, will be 5 months old on December 4th.

What a show off, holding his tail upright so nicely!  He won't be holding it up next Wednesday when he goes to the vet to have his 'boy bits' removed, hahahaha!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

We wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving today!  And to celebrate turkeys, we thought we would show you photos of turkeys that have been on our land in past years.

We also just noticed that our Guestbook on Slideshow will be gone by March 2012.  Slideshow is shutting down.  So if you have your guestbook on there, you lose it.  Major bummer!!!  We'll have to find a new guestbook host.

REMEMBERING OUR ANGEL MISS SNICKERS

Today is a sad day here at Mutton Hollow.  It has been 2 years now since our Angel Miss Snickers left us for the Rainbow Bridge.  We still miss her dearly.  The pain of losing her still hangs on.  But we know she is in a much better place now where the Evil Seizure Monster & Cancer Monster can never hurt her again.

Mama told us that me & Sparky would have loved Snickers.  She showed us tons of pictures of her and told us many of her stories.  We tried to pick out a few photos to post.  It was very hard to choose which ones.  Way too many to pick from.

We love you Snickers!

SPARKY IS 19 WEEKS OLD TODAY & 3RD WORLDWIDE MOMENT

Hey Pals,

It's me Katie.  I can hardly believe my new brudder is already 19 weeks old today!  And would you believe he can slam dunk me down to the ground, pin me down and almost keep me there???  I still manage to wriggle myself out from under him.  He has 9 missing toofers now and we can hardly wait for his puppy fangs to fall out.

Here are some photos Mama took of Sparky today.  He still likes to wiggle a lot when she wants to shoot a picture, so it takes a long time to get a few good ones.

He's about 10 lbs. now, growing up so fast.  Before you know it, he'll be passing me up in weight.

Today is the THIRD ANNUAL WORLDWIDE MOMENT at 5:00PM Central time here in Iowa.

Aire-Bear leaving for Australia and Terriers & Bears For Sale

Hey Pals,

Our latest Mutton Hollow Critter 'Hamish' the Aire-Bear was born yesterday.  He will be leaving us to live in Australia.  He has a long flight ahead of him.  Sparky flew with Mumsie on 2 airplanes to get here to Iowa, so he told Hamish it will be a piece of cake.  Here are some photos of Hamish:
