Tomorrow my brudder Sparky is 14 weeks old, wooohoooooo! He is growing fast. He loves to run in the dry leaves outside. Our weather has warmed up here in Iowa, but not for long. Many of the tree leaves are on the ground now so we like to romp and play in them. We had severe high winds this week so the weather service posted warnings about crop fires. The farmers have been busy picking the soybeans out here across from us. Sparks from farm equipment can easily start the dry crops on fire and if they do, the high winds can spread the fire very quickly. So some farmers have stopped harvesting for now.
Mama took some photos of Sparky today while we were playing outside. He is so long and lanky right now, long legs and a long face, but sooooooo cute!
I better hurry up and put my Steelers cheerleading outfit on and watch the game. It's already started, GO STEELERS!

Sparky....sweetie...did you purposely grow those legs long to reach the pedals on your plane??? Hmm...are there pedals on a plane? My Broom has a rudder, but not much else....you look part puppy and part all grown up doggie...and you are absolutely adorable!!
Now Katie, are you still giving Sparky the "Lacie Formula # 2?" I think it's time to switch to "Lacie Formula #3" or Sparky's going to be the size of Stanley....and perhaps cut back on the number of bottles a day....12 seems a lot...oh, he didn't get into that Smoothie concentrate I left there did he??????
