Butchy has been doing pretty good lately. He went 12 days with no seizures, then he may have had a teeny tiny seizure. It was so small and short that Mama wasn't sure if it was a seizure or not. Well now it has been 6 more days since that day. So we thought things were going good.......................
BUT, yesterday, Butchy fell all of the way down our wood stairs, sliding on his belly with legs out to the sides. Luckily he did not hit his head on anything and he doesn't seem to have any injuries. Mama can't find anything on him that hurts him, even today.
Unfortunately, that EVIL SEIZURE MONSTER heard about his fall and decided to visit him this morning. Poor Butchy had a seizure. Mama was bummed. First she almost had a heart attack when Butchy fell yesterday, then she was upset this morning. She was so out of it that she took her blood pressure medication TWICE this morning. She is only on a low dose because it is prescribed to prevent her migraine headaches. Her normal blood pressure is very very low, so it goes even lower on the medication. So taking double dose was not a good thing. She got kind of woozy, hehehehe!
We sure hope the only reason he got the seizure was from stressing himself falling yesterday. Mama told Butchy that from now on, he has to be on a leash with Mama helping him down the stairs. We don't want him to fall anymore.
I thought I would show you some photos of me since my latest grooming session. I'm still camera shy, but Mama is trying to cure me of this. She said I must learn to love the camera!

My mom used to give me treats to pose for the camera. The camera makes a little noise when it is turned on. Now whenever mom get's the camera out and it makes that noise, I can't pose and smile fast enough....heehee!

OH poor Butchy! I hope that bad fall down the stairs didn't hurt him too bad. How dare that Monster Seizure come back to terrorize him again!! Why won't it just go away? I hope Butchy is doing better now.

Miss Katie: You look bootiful, and so graceful and elegant. We know you are busy helping Mama Lamb take care of Butchy, but you look most serene and calm.
Gussie says he remembers those stairs, and they are scarey to even just LOOK at, much less climb up and down. He sometimes has problems going upstairs himself, so may be relegated to a leash soon, cause he makes muzzer hyperventilate when he trips and hits his chinny.
We are most worried about you, and hope you can bark away that monster like you do the evil bird at the koi pond.

I think that evil monster was just trying to take advantage of you when your were down. We'll purr and pray that the evil one leaves you alone sweet Butchy and I'm so glad you didn't get hurt!
Oh no! That is not what I wanted to hear. Poor Butchy and poor mom. That slide down the stairs, scary. Maybe time for baby gates and being carried up and down.

Thanks for the update on Butchy. Poor chap, I do hope he's recovering OK from his fall and seizure. Gail says that Hamish once fell downstairs while having a seizure and it was all very scary and unsetting.
But dear little Katie, I must say that you are looking most splendid. You may not like the camera but the camera certainly likes you!
And I think we would make such a fine couple! I mean, it is OK for the girl to look beautifully trimmed and the boy to look a bit rugged, is it not?

Hi Katie. We came over from Bertie's to see your prettiness - little did we know that he has a bit of a crush on you ;-) and your new haircut is quite lovely.
