Supposedly today is BLACK FRIDAY! Hmmm, what is Black Friday? Mama told us it's something about shopping.

We hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving. Apparently Scuby didn't smell our turkey cooking as she still hasn't been seen. We hope she will find her way home soon. We miss you Scuby!

THANKSGIVING DAY COMMENT-A-THON

Apparently the wild cats out here in the country have already spread the word that there is a vacancy at the Mutton Hollow Inn. They must know that our girl Scuby has not returned home to us yet. Mama is worried sick about her. We had lots of freezing rain yesterday. So we know that cats outdoors are very cold now here in Iowa.

So far we have had 2 other wild cats show up to eat the food we have out and one was even caught in the catch em alive trap.

Last night a cat that looks like our Sylvester showed up. It is a tuxedo black and white cat, but this one has a white patch on the face, unlike Sylvester. Here is the culprit:


Now just how do they spread the word so fast???

And if they can find the food, why hasn't Scuby???

We hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving even though ours isn't so happy this year again.

PLEASE COME HOME SCUBY!

Mama is devastated! This coming Saturday, the 27th, was to be Scuby's 2nd anniversary Gotcha Day.

Scuby slipped out of the house on Sunday morning at 5AM. We live in the country with hundreds of wooded acres behind and beside us. Empty farm fields south of us. There are 2 large coyote packs that hang around here and lots of hawks & eagles that nab critters.

Scuby will not come to a stranger. She still hides in the house if any human comes into our house. She is very affectionate and tame with all of us. Scuby was the wildest of us 4 cats that Mama & Papa rescued from the wild out here.

Mama has the outdoor camera set up to see if Scuby comes near the back door, porch, goes under the sunroom, etc. We have the catch em alive trap set up. We have liver food outside, tuna, etc. Nothing has been touched.

This morning Sylvester started meowing VERY LOUD. He does this when he wants Mama to come find him. He was down in the basement.

Guess what Mama found when she went downstairs to find him??


Sylvester had a little prezzie for her, a dead MOUSIE! hehehehehe!
