PRODUCT REVIEWS AND PANCAKES!

Hey Pals,

Katie and I Butchy have some products to tell you about from CSN stores.com

We received some wonderful free items to try out.  And can you believe it involves foodables for us to taste too??? hehehehe!

Ya know how Mama and Papa like to cook and we even cook outside on our fire pit.  So on Sunday morning, we decided to test out one of our new items.  Check out this cool Camp Chef cast iron grill/griddle we got:

( it is a flat griddle on one side, grill ridges on the other side )

And YES those are hooooge PANCAKES!!!  ( homemade buttermilk pancakes too! )

Are you drooling yet???

This griddle is great because it's so large.  We only put 3-4 pancakes on it at one time, but it would hold twice that many.  Cast iron is great to cook on.  If you like to camp, this is the griddle for you.  With having the grill on one side and griddle on the other, you could cook all of your food on this one pan, very convenient.  Notice the handles on each end???  They can be placed on either side of the pan.  Plus this comes with it's own storage/carrying bag.

Now for the FINAL test:  Katie and I LOVED the pancakes.  They turned out very yummy.  Mama told us she'll be using this griddle for sure when they host their fire pit pawties!

We also received two other items from the CSN store:  COOKWARE.COM

This PURPLE cast iron Le Creuset frying pan:

( leave it to Mama to find one in PURPLE, her favorite color! )

This pan makes the juiciest grilled hammmmmburgers cooked indoors when you don't want to go outside to use your gas grill.  Whatever meat you cook in this pan gets evenly seared, fat runs to the bottom of the pan instead of your meat sitting in the fat.  This pan can be used on all heat sources, and it is freezer and refrigerator safe too.  Best of all, it has a LIFETIME limited warranty.

Our other item is this pawfectly smelling Camp Chef Dutch Oven Candle:

( lid beside candle is included )

It smells great throughout the house even when it is not lit.  We picked out the APPLE COBBLER scent.  Once the candle is used up, you have this great little dutch oven to use for cooking and it's cast iron of course.

In case some of you are antique buffs and are wondering what stove the frying pan and candle are sitting on, it's Mama and Papa's antique Copper-Clad  stove, made by the Malleable Range Co. in St. Louis, MO that they bought and restored this summer.  It was in really rough shape, but it looks much better now:

SLEEPY SYLVESTER

Hey Pals,

It's me Sylvester.  I'm just lounging here on Mama's ( oh, ah, I mean Dr. Snitchybug's ) work table up in the loft.

I have to tell yah, I'm getting dizzy here watching Butchy, Katie and Mama running outside every 15 minutes to scare that MEAN MONSTER BIRD away from our koi fishies.  Mama is very frustrated cause this darn bird is just not getting the hint that it is NOT WANTED by our pond.  Too bad the koi fishies don't have fangs, then they could bite the bird, wahahahaha!

Maybe Koi Lacie can have some fangs implanted into her mouth, ya think???

Guess I'll take a nap now.

Purrz & Licks,
Silly Sylvester

THE WHREAL WHEELIE TRUTH

Hey Pals,

It's Inspector Butcho here with an update on the strange wheelie kid.  Be sure to read our previous post on August 12th if you missed out on the shocking discovery.

After Dr. Snitchybug (aka Dr. Snitchenstein) revealed the Chiltern belly label on the wheelie kid, Mumsie hired her to do hide removal to reveal the TRUE dog hiding inside.

Check her out:

The poor girl has NO EYES, NO EARS, and NO TAIL.  The red bandage is hiding a HOOOOGE wound too:

One can only imagine what happened to this poor girl wheelie.  No wonder she was in disguise so that she could leave her original country and come to A MERRI CAR.

We decided that the wheelie needed an immediate spa treatment on her furs.

Check out her gorgeous mohair:

Now check out her fuzzy butt, hehehehe:

You'll really be surprised when you see her with her new makeover in a few weeks.  If you know anyone with a mohair animal that needs restoring, remember to tell them to hire Dr. Snitchybug at Teddy Bear Facelifts.

Katie and I Butchy went with Mama and Papa on Friday to a HOOOGE antique show in Minnie Soda.  Boy did we have fun.  We met lots of doggies and lots of people that wanted to pet us.  We met people that have airedales, fox terriers and irish terriers.  They weren't with their hoomans though.  We did meet a border terrier, some poodles, a yorkie and a few large dogs.  We like to meet doggies.  Everyone kept telling us how well behaved Katie is and how well she walks on leash.  Well of course, she's a foxy girl!  And Friday was her 6 MONTH BIRFDAY!!!  Can you believe she is 6 months old already???  Whew, where does the time go.

Can you tell she loves me, her brudder??  She always has to snuggle close to me:

Do ya think she's close enough???  hehehehe!

INSPECTOR BUTCHO CALLED TO DUTY

Hey Pals,

It's me Inspector Butcho .  I was called to duty by Mama (aka Dr. Snitchenstein or known as Dr. Snitchybug).

Some of you might remember that a certain wheelie from the UK was fostered at Eric Square Dog's House for a bit before wheelin' over to A Merry Car.

Next the screeching wheelie arrived at her new home in the USA at Lacie's home.

Well as you would expect, she was screamin' for a pawple bow, somethin' bout a hooooge blender and a body makeover.  You know, face lift, chin tuck, bubble bath, the works.  Hmmmm, we think Lacie and this wheelie had some conversations before she arrived here in the USA.

SO, Mumsie decided to send her off to Teddy Bear Facelifts here at our home.

After this pesky wheelie arrived here, Mama thought something was strange.  Sure enough, we had seen this wheelie a year earlier.  And ya know what?  It was wearin' a BLUE bow!  See:

Now it's sportin' a red with polka dots bow.  Hmmmmm, so is it really a girl or a boy????

Inquiring minds want to know!!!

Next Mama removed the pesky wheelie from her wheels so that she could have a bubble bath.

As Mama examined her, she discovered something strange about her paw pads.  Look see:

It's like she has double skin on her footsies.  So now Mama knew something was strange about this wheelie.  She decided to open her skin for the chin tuck to see what was underneath:

OH MY DAWG!  There is another layer of furs under there.

So next she opened up the belly to check under there:

Do you see that????????  A Chiltern Toy label on mohair!

Oh boy, this is a mystery.  So this is when Mama hired me Inspector Butcho to investigate the mystery behind this wheelie.

Is it an imposter???

Did Eric Square Dog sneak a wheelie out of the UK in cognito???

Uh oh, did I just hear Archie in Boston faint and fall to the floor????

Errrr, what is Lacie doing right now???

Tune in next week for an update on my investigation.  I have a feeling I will have some very revealing evidence to present.

Inspector Butcho

JAKE AND FERGI CAME TO SEE US!

Hey Pals,

As many of you already know, Jake and Fergi have been on their cross country trip visiting many of their dog pals.  They finally arrived here in Ioway yesterday!

We had soooooo much fun!  I Butchy finally had a REAL date with Fergi my 'girlfriend'.  We have lots of pictures to go through, but we wanted to show you how HAPPY little Miss Fergi was while she was here:

Just look at her SMILE!  She loved the koi ponds.  She kept trying to get down into the water, finally getting her paws soaked, hehehehe!

The biggest surprise of the day is that JAKE IS IN LOVE!  With who you ask????

First with RUBY, one of our cats!

Ruby and Jake took to each other the minute Jake came into the house.  Ruby was rubbing her head on Jake too, hehehehe!  Jake just couldn't figure out how to jump up onto that ledge to sit with Ruby.  Later we even caught him giving Scuby the cat nose kissies!

Here is Jake's next love:

Mama's African Cichlid fishies.  Yep, that's right.  He kept sneaking back downstairs to watch the fish.  Can you see the yellow fish he is staring at???  (you should be able to click on the picture to biggify it)
We think Jake needs an aquarium with fish in it for his next birfday, wahahahaha!

While walking the trails on our land, Jake and Fergi even got to see 2 different baby deer.  They just stood there watching us doggies.  Finally they trotted off into the brush.

Now as for Katie, errrrr,  I think Lacie gave her lessons on HOW TO FLIRT!  She would jump on Jake, nip at him and then roll onto the ground belly up begging for kissies!!  That girl..........

We sure were sad to see them leave.  We had so much fun together.  After they left, Katie and I konked out for the night.  We were sooooo tired from all of the excitement.

We hope to have some more photos soon.
