KATIE'S FIRST STICK & VET VISIT

Hey Pals,

We've been having trouble posting, but finally things are working.  Mama has a zillion photos and videos of Katie.  Oh yeah, plus Mama has been going to they - roooooo - peeeeee for her bad neck, so she hasn't been able to sit at the puter much.  Hopefully we'll catch up soon.  We have lots of photos of our flowering trees too and some goosies that have been visiting our pond.  Not to mention all of the time Mama spends training the little tazmanian devil, errrrr, I mean my sissie, hehehehe!

So here is Katie with her first stick:

Katie loves to grab EVERY piece of grass as we walk by it just like I Butchy do.  We drive Mama crazy.

Ok, on Monday Katie had her first trip to our vet.  She got to meet all kinds of doggies and people.

Check out this cute Hairless Terrier she met:

Not only did she go to her room, but first she walked into the lab room all by herself and walked right onto the hoooooge floor scale to weigh herself, hehehehe!  She weighs 4 lbs. 4 oz.

Can I have more of those treats???  They were yummy.  (usually Butchy won't eat the treats when the vet hands them to him, but he will eat them in the car, Katie scarfed down every treat he handed her!)

Needless to say, Katie disrupted the whole office, tee hee!  She was there an HOUR!  She met 6 dogs, big and small, and of course all of the vet's helpers and the hoomans that brought their dogs there that day.

Mama has they - roooo - peeee again in the morning, so we're not sure when we'll get to post more of our photos.  Hopefully soon!  ( I think Mama takes at least 200 photos per day, geeeesh!)

MY FIRST DAY AT HOME

ALIENS IN IOWA????

Did you hear on the news about the meteor that flew over Iowa last night??  Whew, thank goodness it didn't land in our yard.  At first Mama thought it was Katie arriving in a spaceship, wahahahaha!  Here is the video that was taken by an Iowa Sheriff's department:

WAITING FOR KATIE

Hey Pals,

A few weeks ago we received the pawple basket that little Katie was sitting in to have her pictures taken by Mumsie in Ohiiiiiiiiiiiiiiio.  See:

We can still smell her scent in the basket and things.

Mama lets us smell the basket EVERY DAY!  We keep thinking Katie will be in there, but it's always empty.  When is she going to get here???

Hootie and I are waiting patiently on our perch by the window.

What Mama???  3 1/2 more days???????????  Ooooooo, I can't stand this waiting thing.................

SYLVESTER SUNDAY

Hey Pals,

It's me Sylvester, prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Not much goin' on around here.  Butchy let me post today so that I can show you my booootiful face!

Mama and Papa are busy getting things fixed up around here.  Like painting doors, sealing decks and porches, cleaning out the garage.  And THEN, Papa found oil on the garage floor under Mama's car, yikes!  She is NOT happy.  She had the car looked at last week, oil filter/oil changed, etc. and now it's leaking oil.  So Mama will take the car in tomorrow morning.  She needs it working so she can get to the doctor on Wednesday to get her bad elbow looked at.  She wants her elbow fixed up so that it doesn't hurt.  She told us that turning 50 this year is not fun.  More things keep hurting on the body, hehehehe!  Do you think I'll reach 50 years old????   nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.



Just think, only 6 more days before Katie arrives here!  Mama is already sleepless at night thinking about little Katie.  Mama told us catsies that we have to help train Katie too.  We have to train her to stay OUT of our litter boxes.  Hmmmm, wonder why?  Doesn't she want Katie to taste our Tootsie Rolls??? hehehehe!  We're supposed to teach her how to wrestle and box with us too.  That will be lots of fun.


Time to go take a cat nap..............................
