NEW WHIRLPOOL STOVE AND SICKIE MAMA

Hey Pals,

We haven't been able to post for days cause Mama has been sick.  She's finally feeling a bit better, so we can post about our new stove now.  It is a Whirlpool Freestanding Gas Range.

Tadahhhhhhh:

It even has 5 burners.

Check out how shiny the front is, can you see Katie on the floor and myself standing watching her???  It's like a mirror.
Before we could use the stove, it needed to be converted for LP gas.  So Mama did this, even when she was sick.  The parts are very tiny and Papa's hands aren't as small as Mama's for working with tiny things.

Our newest antique Steiff terrier wheelie decided to check out the oven to make sure it's ready to bake my birthday cake next week.
Everything is ready to test.  Last night we made some bran muffins to test the oven.  They baked up just fine.
Here Katie is roachin' in front of the oven.  She is happy the oven works, so now we can bake goodies!!!
OK, now since this new oven works, can I have my birthday cake BEFORE my surgery day???  Huh Mama????  hint hint???  woof woof???  arf arf???

Hi Butcho...the muzzer says that is one coooool stove. She has a big griddle that would work wonderfully over two of those burners. We use it to make pancakes! Tell Mama we hope she if feeling better, and that she definitely should make your cake BEFORE your birthday,

kisses

(because you might have a coupla days when you don't feel much like celebrating after the surgery.)

Hey Butchy, poor Mama. I bet you two are loking after each other. Paws crossed she feels better soon. I'm sending her some special healing licks.

As for the smashing new oven it must be tested every day to see it's working ok. Wheelie's will cook in under an hour on gas mark 5.Serve with a few lightly buttered garlic beans and roast potatoes.Maybe a dash of gravy cos the older ones can be a bit dry. HAAAAAaaaaaa!!!!

Wiry love Eric xxx

Hi Butchy! We are sorry your mom is sick but we are glad she is starting to feel better! And that is impressive that she was able to do all that stove stuff - our mom wouldn't be too good at it! And that is a pretty fancy looking stove - we bet it will make you a fancy looking cake for your birthday!

Hi Katie
You are looking so sweet there that I fear your Mama might think a cake superfluous! Just kidding! I think that terrier wheelie needs to take care though. Just one nudge of the oven door from a jealous non-wheelie and he'd be toast (or worse...)
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
PS I do hope you'll be coming to my next class?

MOST importantly.

1. We hope your moma is feeling MUCH better.
2. We hope you DO get your birthday cake a day or two early. (Remember they're gonna starve you the day of your surgery.)
3. We hope your surgery goes REALLY REALLY well.

And now.

First thing we thought of when we saw that (shiny and beautiful) gas range and oven was ... Lacie. Goin' nutso with an open oven.

Then we considered that (petite and beautiful) wheelie and we started worrying right away about the precarious position she is in. ESPECIALLY after we read Eric's quite inappropriate comment. (Though we have to admit, it was really quite funny. We just didn't tell Winston and OldSoul that we thought so.)

Off to get batteries in the camera. (We know. We know. That's a totally random thing to say.)

Love and hugs

That looks great. We can totally imagine Coco going crazy and attacking the ugly black things that lived in reflective surfaces.. (BOL)
Also -we hope your mom feels all great again in no time!

We hope your mama is feeling better by now! What a cool stove! Our mom would love to go back to a gas stove! Several years ago, our dad switched us over to electric and our mom absolutely hates it! Unfortunately, she can't afford to go get a new one since there is nothing wrong with the one we have now...except that she HATES it!

Good luck with your surgery, Butchy! We'll be waiting to see your birthday cake!

Aire-hugs,
Penny & Patches
