PRODUCT REVIEWS AND PANCAKES!

Hey Pals,

Katie and I Butchy have some products to tell you about from CSN stores.com

We received some wonderful free items to try out.  And can you believe it involves foodables for us to taste too??? hehehehe!

Ya know how Mama and Papa like to cook and we even cook outside on our fire pit.  So on Sunday morning, we decided to test out one of our new items.  Check out this cool Camp Chef cast iron grill/griddle we got:

( it is a flat griddle on one side, grill ridges on the other side )

And YES those are hooooge PANCAKES!!!  ( homemade buttermilk pancakes too! )

Are you drooling yet???

This griddle is great because it's so large.  We only put 3-4 pancakes on it at one time, but it would hold twice that many.  Cast iron is great to cook on.  If you like to camp, this is the griddle for you.  With having the grill on one side and griddle on the other, you could cook all of your food on this one pan, very convenient.  Notice the handles on each end???  They can be placed on either side of the pan.  Plus this comes with it's own storage/carrying bag.

Now for the FINAL test:  Katie and I LOVED the pancakes.  They turned out very yummy.  Mama told us she'll be using this griddle for sure when they host their fire pit pawties!

We also received two other items from the CSN store:  COOKWARE.COM

This PURPLE cast iron Le Creuset frying pan:

( leave it to Mama to find one in PURPLE, her favorite color! )

This pan makes the juiciest grilled hammmmmburgers cooked indoors when you don't want to go outside to use your gas grill.  Whatever meat you cook in this pan gets evenly seared, fat runs to the bottom of the pan instead of your meat sitting in the fat.  This pan can be used on all heat sources, and it is freezer and refrigerator safe too.  Best of all, it has a LIFETIME limited warranty.

Our other item is this pawfectly smelling Camp Chef Dutch Oven Candle:

( lid beside candle is included )

It smells great throughout the house even when it is not lit.  We picked out the APPLE COBBLER scent.  Once the candle is used up, you have this great little dutch oven to use for cooking and it's cast iron of course.

In case some of you are antique buffs and are wondering what stove the frying pan and candle are sitting on, it's Mama and Papa's antique Copper-Clad  stove, made by the Malleable Range Co. in St. Louis, MO that they bought and restored this summer.  It was in really rough shape, but it looks much better now:

I LOVE the stove! It must have been a ton of work to fix it up but totally worthwhile. In the meantime, those products would not work for us. They appear to require actually cooking activities on the part of the human.

Slobbers,
Mango

We love the stove...just make sure you don't lose a catses in there when they start to explore. MMMM will it be operational this winter? Nice warm spot for catnaps?

Tell Katie we look forward to the Modeling lessons. And tell Mama Lamb that the food looks yummies.

That is pretty neat! I've never seen a griddle like that.
We have one of those cast iron pie makers that we use, but that would be so cool to make pancakes over the fire pit:)

We loved looking around your blog!

I love the stove...I want the stove...I want to live in the time when the stove was used.

But...I wouldn't have been able to cook on it...

Can you say BURNED?

IT'S FABULOUS....I LOVE IT!!!

Mumsie

Pee ess...If my daughter Lacie is attending the Modeling Class, can you make sure that she is not exposed to too much makeup? She has a tendancy to want to over do things.

Also, if the hemlines could all be to her knees or below...I'm just sayin'...

Love,

Mumsie

Blog owner approval?

Now the Lacie would never type anything IN A PROP REE RAT...

Please ignore all that stuff Mumsie wrote about the excessive makeup and long hemlines...I'm the boss here...

My mom loves your mom's stove- we have a 1920 ice box and 1920's stove that mom sent off to be REDONE- so now we have a vintage kitchen. She uses us as the dishwasher and tells us not to tell anyone - as they wouldn't want to come over to eat anymore.
Love your home!
