It's meeee K-k-k-katie. Yesterday I turned 4 months old and guess what happened to me today???
I lost my very FIRST TOOFIE!!! See:

Mama is going to save my toofers that she finds. She did this when little Angel Snickers was a wee pup and then she made a necklace out of her toofers for Papa. Mama even showed it to me. It's cool!
Butchy and I have been way busy guarding the koi fishies. We still haven't caught that nasty snapping turtle yet. Mama is hoping he left to go back to the river at the end of our road. Now for your viewing pleasure, here is a picture of the koi:

Ok, now we need the power of the paw for our buddy Scruffy! He has been sick for days and Mumsie had to take him to the mergency vettie late last night. Poor Scruffy. He is sick from both ends, plus his sore paw. He needs lots of healing paw right now. Please pray for him to heal up quickly.

You know what? I lost my first tooth on Saturday! (Not that I'm trying to steal your thunder or anything). I guess I was 4 months and one day old. Mine was a lower one (front, left) but Gail hasn't found it yet. I'm certainly not going to let her take any gappy tooth photos though!
But do tell me please, is that the deal then Katie, that you get an ice-cream when you loose a tooth? Miserly old Gail has been keeping very quiet about that one...
Of course you are quite sweet enough already Katie, without extra dessert!

PS You asked earlier how much I weigh. I'm afraid we don't have any weighing scales here so all I can tell you is that it's a lot more than a few weeks ago!
Mom can't believe we never found one of Ciara's toofies. She has a full set of adult ones already. Hope the toof fairy comes to visit Katie.

We can just imagine that the tooth fairy is on her way to your house, Katie. Complete with a magic wand and pretty purple gown. Maybe even glitter on her wings. Just what a princess like you deserves. Along with coins under your pillow and LOTS of ice cream to numb the pain. (You don't have pain do you? We hope not.)

We just saw the news about Scruffy ... Moma got really really worried and we had to call for an update (or she wouldn't've slept.) We were happy to learn that he is home and hopefully on the mend. (His vettie is sure getting a load of Scruff recently. That's probably not the best way to win friends and pawsitively influence people)

OH MY...OH MY!!! Katie..put that first toofer under your pillow tonight and a magical toofer fairy will come and leave you a shiny new dime...frankly, I'd hold out for a purple credit cardie, but take what you can get, girlie!! First toofers are worth a ton...and those pesky molars even more...
You might wanna see if the toof fairy could drop that off for Asta's mom...she'd adore it!!
Scruffy is feeling so much better. I'm putting a call out for the nurses cuz I have a date...if you'd like to come and read to him a bit or play a hand of gin rummy, that would be fine...what? Give him a bed bath? Um...I don't think you're quite ready for advanced nursing care yet, dear girlie...I'm thinkin' of just tossin' him in the shower and leavin' him for for a couple of hours....that outta do the trick!

Just a quick update Katie. We went to a shop yesterday where they have scales and, at 4 months and 4 days old I weighed in at 4.5 kg (that's just shy of 10 lbs). Gail says I'm a big fine strong healthy laddie!
