We've been having trouble posting, but finally things are working. Mama has a zillion photos and videos of Katie. Oh yeah, plus Mama has been going to they - roooooo - peeeeee for her bad neck, so she hasn't been able to sit at the puter much. Hopefully we'll catch up soon. We have lots of photos of our flowering trees too and some goosies that have been visiting our pond. Not to mention all of the time Mama spends training the little tazmanian devil, errrrr, I mean my sissie, hehehehe!
So here is Katie with her first stick:
Katie loves to grab EVERY piece of grass as we walk by it just like I Butchy do. We drive Mama crazy.
Ok, on Monday Katie had her first trip to our vet. She got to meet all kinds of doggies and people.

Not only did she go to her room, but first she walked into the lab room all by herself and walked right onto the hoooooge floor scale to weigh herself, hehehehe! She weighs 4 lbs. 4 oz.

Needless to say, Katie disrupted the whole office, tee hee! She was there an HOUR! She met 6 dogs, big and small, and of course all of the vet's helpers and the hoomans that brought their dogs there that day.
Mama has they - roooo - peeee again in the morning, so we're not sure when we'll get to post more of our photos. Hopefully soon! ( I think Mama takes at least 200 photos per day, geeeesh!)

Great to hear your news. What a pretty little thing you are. (Gail is telling me not to sound patronising. It's not patronising to call you pretty is it?) I too have discovered sticks, and grabbing grass, and other plant - aren't they fun! I help Gail dead head a daffodil a couple of days ago. Yesterday I had me first ever go at digging - I'm a real terrier now!
But do tell me about that long strip of cloth that is attached to your collar when you visit the vet. I have one of those but I thought it was a toy. Do you not like to chew it? As soon as Gail attaches this 'lead' I put it in my mouth and hold fast. Why wouldn't you?
Oh I wish you could come for a sleepover. Although I would have to ask you to bring your own hot water bottle. There are some things that I am not feeling ready to share just yet..
I am going to the vet later today. I do hope he's as nice as your Mr Broom they has some treats too.

Katie! Woo are very cute, but do not get a big head about it, Woo can think Bertie is cute, but woo are way too young to have a boyfriend, even if he is the cutest little guy... Wonderful job in visiting the vet and company.. treats are great aren't they? Woo look like woo are already walking nicely on the leash! great job! Keep us posted and I hope woo Mom feels better soon!

We think that Katie is just the cutest little girl! And she seems so brave...eating vet-bisquits!! Baby got weighed on Tuesday: 57.2#. Just who did she call a chubby?? BOL!!
Hope your mommy's back is feelin' better. Our mom has fibromyalgia so has to have therapeutic massage to help.We feel for her.

Darling girl,Just thrilled you have been able to read my chapter on stick chewing and grass rolling....You are right on track in your learning. Katie, did you ever get to dance with Mr Broom or with that Hilarious Dog (not to be mean, but Moma thought that was what Hairless said the first time she read Butchy's post to us.) You are soooo cute, we can't imagine anything but everyone and everything dancing in happiness around you.
And one fast learner, you are. Neither Fergi nor I have yet to chew on a stick. (Don't tell A+A) But you've given us some ideas...

Katie you must have been the hit of the partay there at the vet's office! People can't resist us little furry ones when we're so young.
None of us furries like sticks or know what to do with them at my house. My cousin (or maybe he's my nephew since he's my human's daughter's dog?) Buddy eats sticks! I used to like to chew on socks and ropes, but now food is the only thing I put in my mouth. Enjoy it while you're young and they still think everything you do it cute!

What a cutie patootie! And so brave at the vet's. Try not to get too jelly Butchy. Puppies get an enormous amount of attention. I know this firsthand from when Shamus came. But it will all level out, so hang in dude!
Mom says puppies bring that sense of new life, like spring. And our hoomans get so many holes in their hearts from losing us, they have to keep adding a pup here and there to make their heart bigger so it will still work.

Every time we come over here, our mom is imagining puppy breath! You are sooooo cute, Katie! We can't believe you at the treats at the v-e-t's office! We always make Mom save them for the ride home.
