BEST BULLY STICKS & MORE FLOWERS

Hey Pals,

A few months ago we were sent some tasty bully sticks to try out.

WOW!!! That's all we can say, hehehehehe! The bully sticks are from BEST BULLY'S.

They are truly pawsome. Mama & Papa were even impressed because these bully sticks did not smell icky like other sticks we have tried. Believe us, Mama does not let us chew things that are stinky. Here are a few photos of us enjoying our Best Bully Sticks: (this is before our last haircut, so we look pretty woolly)

This is me Butchy chewing up my bully stick:

And here is Snickers. She can chew these up faster than I can, she just loves them!

Ynum, num, num, num!

So if you like good treats, please check out Best Bully's! Did we tell you these sticks are chemical & preservative FREE??? Tell them Butchy & Snickers sent you.

This morning I Butchy helped Mama take some flower pictures while I guarded the koi fishies as they ate their brekkie.

Here I am by some Astilbes:

Here is a Japanese Iris:

And here is another color of Japanese Iris:

This iris is by the Water Forget Me Nots. They have tiny blue flowers that bloom most of the summer.

This blooming plant is a perennial Hardy Geranium:

This plant is called Spiderwort. This one has the blue/purple flowers. We have 3 different flower color versions of this plant.

Here is one of our waterlilies:

We haven't had too many waterlily flowers blooming lately because, ummmmmm, those darn bambi have been taking a swim into our ponds & EATING THEM!!! Mama has been very upset with them. She watches out the windows all of the time & when she notices a deer in the pond, she runs outside like a mad woman screaming at the deer to GET OUT!

Here is a picture of one doe running out of the pond after Mama screamed at her:

The picture is kind of blurry since Mama was screaming while she took this, hehehehe!
You can biggify this picture to see the deer a bit better, she's the big brown thing in the middle!

Hmmmmm, wonder if this deer will come back???

MEAN SEIZURE MONSTER & THE CAT DID IT!!

Hey Pals,

Well, Snickers' good luck run ran out on Friday. That mean Seizure Monster had to bother her again & made her have 4 seizures Friday evening. Mama was so mad & sad at the same time. The seizures were shorter this time so that's a little improvement. Snickers is pretty much back to her ol' self now today.

Here she is:

While Snickers has been resting up since Friday night, I've been on guard duty all by myself.

And look what I found in front of our fireplace:

Is that a dog rug????? Where did it come from?

Uh oh, there is Sylvester & Scuby in one of the surveillance photos:

Just look at Sylvester making himself comfy on that rug:

I'VE BEEN FRAMED!!

IT'S WHEELY WEDNESDAY!

Hey Pals,

It's me nurse Snickers II reporting today. Some of you may have heard the hottest scoop in wheely world, Myrna gave birth to a baby wheely girl!!! Yep, looks just like her daddy Gilbert. Myrna was rushed here to our Snitchybug Dog Hospital for the delivery.

Here are some of the delivery day photos that Butchy took for us:

This is Myrna, waiting for the moment....

Ooooooo, here comes the head...

Dr. Snitchybug & Dr. Pierre delivered the baby along with Nurse Snickers II & Nurse Sylvester. If you biggify the picture, you can see Sylvester's white paws below where the baby's head will come out, he wanted to be sure to catch the baby, hehehehe!

Proud daddy Gilbert at Myrna's side...

It's a GIRL!!!

Here is mommy Myrna with her girl Romy...

You can read more detail about the day on Asta's blog. We are all still excited about the fun day.

Do you remember this foxy boy??? If not, CLICK HERE

He is currently going through his plastic surgeries for skin replacement. Lacie is just dying for him to be healed so he can come live with her, hehehehe. Here you can see him enjoying his acupuncture treatments. Dr. Snitchybug let him go lounge out on our deck to enjoy the fresh air:

( For those of you that like to sew, the white pieces are the pattern pieces that Dr. Snitchybug made that are cut into the different mohair colors. )

Shouldn't be too long now & the foxy boy will be all healed up nicely. He doesn't want to show his face until he is totally healed, so silly Lacie will just have to wait, tee hee!

HAIRDO & KOI

Hey Pals,

We finally got Mama to take some pictures of us since she trimmed our hair. Here is Snickers:

Just look at that cute face, hehehehe! Mama has been very happy cause it's been 30 days since the (shhhhh......) xxxx monster has visited Snickers.

And here is my handsome face!

I've been having lots of fun outdoors. That mean mini-Monster Bird (aka Kingfisher Bird) keeps trying to get the koi, so I chase him away. I go bezzzzerk when I hear his weird cackling noises. Mama told me that's being a good boy though, cause I scare him away. Here are some of our koi fishies. It's so hard to get good photos of them with all of the light hitting the water, etc. But you can see some of them really well.

Here was our first waterlily flower to bloom for the season. The lilies are about 3 weeks late in blooming due to our cold weather.

So far Mama has named 8 of the little young koi that were born last year. We don't have pics of all of them yet, but here are the names we chose from our pals list:

BabyStan
Georgie
Gordy
Bailey
Baxter
Benson
Brody
Noah

Better get back outside to guard the koi.

ANOTHER SNAPPER & FLOWERS!

Hey Pals,

Can you believe that Mama caught another one of those ugly snapping turtles in the pond?? Well he's now in the river with his buddy, tee hee.

We thought we would show you some of the flowers that have started to bloom around here in our yard. Mostly just Iris varieties, some Clematis vines, etc. This first picture is one of the Clematis vines that we have:

The next several pictures are German Bearded Iris. We have lots of colors, but not all of them bloomed this year mainly due to Mama dividing them last year & moving them into different flower beds.

This Iris has the variegated leaves:

The next few photos are some of the Siberian Iris we have:

This is one of Mama's favorites, it's a double flower:

The next two photos are some of the Water Iris we have in the ponds. There are still a few more colors to bloom.

We finally have Water Lily flower buds almost ready to open now. They are about 2-3 weeks behind normal. Our weather here in Iowa has been way too cold for April, May & June for many plants. Lots of people lost many trees & plants from the long winter.

Our Koi fish have been breeding like crazy, but we still aren't seeing any babies hatched. When it's too cold, the eggs take much longer to hatch & some even die. So we're hoping it warms up soon. Many of the 2-4 inch koi that were born last year in our pond are starting to come up for food with the big koi now. They are usually afraid of the big koi until they get to the 2-4 inch size, then they start hanging out with the big fish. Guess they are afraid of being eaten, hehehe. Mama has been studying the new little ones so she can start picking names for them. Which names will be picked for the first batch??? Hmmmmm, we guess only Mama knows, hehehe.
