Mama has been having leaky eyes all morning. Poor Zuzu was helped along to the Rainbow Bridge early this morning.

Her sissy Janie has been pretty lonely. Janie & Zuzu's mother deer gave birth to twin girls again this past June. The girls are still available to go to a new home. Mama & Papa's friends kept trying to convince them to get the girls, but no go. (although Mama would have taken them, hehehehe!) So guess where they will be going? Yep, to live with Janie. They will probably come to their new home the weekend of the 25th. After we get some pictures of the girls we'll post & reveal their names.
After hearing the sad news this morning, poor Snickers had 2 seizures starting at 12:15. Just what Mama didn't need today. Although we don't want Snickers to have anymore seizures, we're not worried yet, since the new medication has not been in her system long enough to be built up yet. So she could still get more seizures. Once the vet does tests to know that the drug is built up enough, then we'll start tracking seizures & the patterns to see if the new drug is a strong enough dosage for Snickers.
We can harldy believe that Snickers will turn 7 years old next week. Since Gussie came here to help nurse Snickers, he brought her birthday prezzie early. Mama has some pictures, so we'll post those tomorrow. It is a very very yummy prezzie. And how do I Butchy know this?? Well, Snickers shared with us, hehehehe!

Oh no, that is such sad news about Zuzu. We hope Janie is happier with the company of the new twins.
Snickers, hopefully when the new med is in your system the horrid seizures will go for good. We have our paws crossed that the dosage is right.

Oh nooooooooo! Poor Zuzu - we didn't know that she was sick. We are sending paw hugs to you all.
We are sorry we haven't stopped by lately. Kaci was with me (Hershey) for two weeks and she went home with Grammy on Monday.
We are also sending well wishes to Snickers - she has had way too much of a rough time.

We always picture our doggie friends at the Rainbow Bridge -- now you've opened our eyes to see a beautiful young deer running free there too.
We're sorry to hear about Zuzu -- but the twins came along at just the right time to bring new love to Janie's house.
As for Ms. Snickers -- we're with her with all our wirey hearts and hope the new medicine will help keep her from having nay more seizues!!
