ABOUT US
We're Butchy & Snickers Lamb, two wild & woolly Wire Fox Terrier dogs. Butchy (on left), born October 5, 2000 in California. Snickers (on right), born July 20, 2002 in Indianola, Iowa. Snickers became our little Angel Snickers on November 22, 2009. I Butchy was rescued from Missouri by Mom & Dad in March of 2004.
We share our home with 3 cats that we rescued at the end of 2008, Ruby, Sylvester & Scuby.
I Butchy have Hypothyroidism & take daily thyroid hormones. Snickers also had Hypothyroidism and in 2008, Snickers was diagnosed with Idiopathic Epilepsy. She defeated the seizure monster but Lymphoma Cancer stole her beautiful life. We're crossing our paws that the fireworks were the silent type - pretty but not too scary - for you on Independence Day. You deserve a perfect evening. One of these days, we're hoping we can celebrate the end of the Seizure Monster. We'll even put up with fireworks boomers for that celebration!

Can you believe it? Mommy left me and Mica home all alone while she went to watch the fireworks from the 36th floor balcony of an apartment directly across from the barges on the Hudson River! She was happy to see I didn't destroy anything when she got home, so she's thinking they must not have been THAT noisy. Harumph!

I'm sorry to hear that Snickers is still getting those seizures. It must be a terrible worry for all of you. Mom remembers hating when T-man would get them. It was really scary each time even though he recovered OK.
