Hey Pals,
It's Snickers posting today. As some of you know, Butchy is off on his date with Lacie to Bermuda. They met Rosie & Petey there too. All are having a good time so far. When Butchy gets back, we'll try to post some photos of their trip.
What is SCW you ask?? Well it's Saturday Cat Wrestling you sillies. Silly Sylvester & Scuby just luv to wrestle, so Mama took a few videos of them with her camera. Here is one of the videos:
By the way, does anyone know where Spring is??? We're waiting for Spring to arrive here in Iowa. We are tired of freezing our tootsies off. We were looking through some of our camera videos and decided to show some things that we look forward to for Spring around here in our yard.
Around May 1st, the Ruby Throated Hummingbirds will return to our house:
(if you turn up the volume loud, you can hear the hummingbirds making their chatting noises)
In April, usually the Wild Turkey start hanging around daily getting ready for breeding season. They have been hanging around here already, but not steady like they do in the Spring.
And of course Mama can hardly wait for the ice to melt on top of the koi ponds. She really hates not seeing her pet koi for about 6 months out of the year. Once the ice is gone and the water reaches about 55-60 degrees, the koi will start breeding. Here is a video of them breeding, the males are chasing Koi Cookie!
Are you ready for Spring now??? We sure are. Mama and Papa have cabin fever, so they are going antiquing with their friends tomorrow. Hmmmm, wonder if Mama will find any Wire Fox Terrier items???

Oh, now we have a huge case of Spring fever! We're still freezing here in Missouri, too:(
Still pretty cold by our standards here in Mayemphis. Not like Ioway though. Hope Butcho has a good time, if you need anything, give me a call. I can drive the Gussiemobile in Snow now too!

Here is still very much winter! It's very pretty this time of year.. WEll... Mom love the seasons. She'd never live some boring place without them.. She's equally happy every time they change, 'cause they all have their charm. :D

I really enjoyed the cat wrestling video. The spring videos were nice, too. Spring is here in New Mexico. We have hyacinth and jonquils blooming.

Cat wrestling appears to be something I would rather stay away from. They are far too limber and fast.

Wow...we loved that last video of the Koi Matin' thingie...Mumsie made Babystan go to bed but Scruffy and I ate popcorn and watched the whole thing...repeatedly!!! Now Mumsie's sez enuff is enuff...sniff...

Now Butchy...I think it was horrid that Petey locked us both in the stocks and even worse they just unlocked you for the sole purpose of taking that Auntie of Rosie's around so Rose and Petey could get quality smoochin' time...I do appreciate the fact that you guys brought me swizzle drinks every 2 hours, but now I have a horribly sunburned nose and a headache...sigh...next time we'll go to St. Barts...I've heard it's Peteyless...

The Koi breeding video looks a lot like the cat wrestling video lol. We definitely have spring at our place and we will be happy to send it your way.

we love your hummingbirds. and that cat wrasslin' is something else. they have great foot action with the rear legs when they are doing that bunny rabbit kicking thing. that's pretty funny. we can't wait for spring at your house too. we love seeing the koi.

Spring ... it's coming? We still have lots of snow and ice ... it's -17C this morning but with the wind chill it feels like -27C. Yikes!

I don't know where spring is either, Snickers. All I know is that it sure isn't here in Montreal! Your videos make us yearn for spring all the more ... although spring around our house isn't nearly as interesting as it is at yours. Thanks goodness we're hooked up to your blog! I like to wrestle with my car brother. he doesn't liek to wrestle so much anymore since he got sick a couple years ago. We think Spring is stuck here. It's been so long since we've seen snow or really any moisture. Mom is so excited about seeing what all is going ot come up at the new house. There are tulips coming up where we didn't think there was anything and more iris. Mom's been doing a lot of yard cleaning so get it all ready for spring. She really can't wait to get the hummingbird feeders out again. We love to sit and watch them.
