WHEELY WEDNESDAY No 28

Hey Pals,

It's me Roxy, or I should say Nurse Roxy. Head Nurse Snickers told me that I passed my nursing exams with flying colors so I get to help her out now with nursing duties.

I still need to take my specialty classes, so Nurse Lacie, Agatha & Asta might come here to be my teachers for those. I really need those classes since I want to help Dr. Snitchybug & Dr. Pierre out with the surgeries at Snitchybug Dog Hospital.

Speaking of surgeries, poor Bert is still waiting for his skin & leg transplant surgery. The donor leg should be arriving sometime next week via the Snitchybug Life Helicopter.

Gertie has been helping Dr. Snitchybug with overfeeding Bert so that his skin can be stretched out for the surgery, hehehehe.

Ahhemmm, looks like Gertie is really enjoying herself with Bert. Blossom told us that Gertie thinks she is in luv!!! Boy will she be bummed out when Bert goes back home after his surgeries. The good thing is that Butchy goes to see Lacie quite often, so Gertie can ride with him to visit Bert. Yep, Bert lives with Lacie, Scruffy & Stan. And NO, they are not the culprits that injured poor Bert. It was a previous tenant at their house.

Guess it's time to go change Bert's dressings on his leg. Gotta be on top of my duties or Nurse Snickers will be after me, tee hee.

Wheely Hugs!

IT'S RUBY TUESDAY!

Hey Pals,

I can't believe it's Tuesday already. Silly Mama hasn't gotten many pictures of me this week due to her working on fixing things around the house. Plus Papa is home this week so they are trying to finish up the plumbing disaster that we had here. The pantry is now pushed back into the wall, but it's not filled yet. Primer paint is on the wall, just waiting for the top paint. The tile were cemented down today, so hopefully tomorrow Mama can put in the grout.

I am happy to report that I now play with Snickers, hehehehe! It's fun. She's very nice to me & she loves to nap right beside me in our chair. Mama also taught me the COME command. I do really good with it. Papa couldn't believe it. We don't know why he was so shocked, after all, I am the Queen around here but I must do what Mama commands as SHE is the HEAD QUEEN!!

Mama has also been busy with my new rescued brudder Sylvester. He is doing very well from his surgery & he is using the litter box like a champ! He is almost used to the whole basement now. Still a bit skiddish about the stairs. Soon he'll be running up them & roaming around the whole house. Mama brought him upstairs yesterday, but Papa came in the front door & it scared him. He must have been out in the wild from birth, cause he is way more skiddish than I was when they rescued me.

Here are a few pictures we took of Sylvester on his pillow bed downstairs that Mama made for him: (btw, Mama now makes & sells fleece pillow covers for your pet beds & the cat beds like she made for me. So if you're interested in purchasing things, be sure to send us an email to: sales@snitchybugdogdesigns.com )

Awwwwh, the indoor life! I sure can get used to this.

Don't wake me up Mama! I'm tired.

More updates next Tuesday!

Little did he know they would send him to the dogtor, or I mean cattor to get his berries removed tomorrow, hehehehehe! So cross your paws that his surgery goes well tomorrow.

I'm now the head ruler of the house!!

Hey you, yeah you mice, you best obey me or I'll have you sent to the dungeon!!

Mama tried to get me to stand up for my photo shoot, but hey, I'm Queen, I can do whatever I want to right??? She'll keep trying to get photos of me standing so you can see my costume that she made me a bit better. Now I'm ready for the big Halloween Pawty at the Tower Of London.

I have a secret to tell you too. I errrrr, uhhhhhhh, gave Butchy a kiss on the nose last night! He was sleeping in the chair & I crawled up & kissed him! It woke him up, tee hee.

MERMAID TURNS INTO FAIRY???

Hey Pals,
It's me Snickers today. Butchy is still in PA with Lacie & Scruffy. They went to football games all weekend. I had to stay home with Mama cause she was working on my Halloween costume.

Here is the history of my costume. It all started when Mama & Papa went garage sailing & found a girl's pawty dress that had a stain on it for 25 cents! It has peach glittery mesh fabric that shines really cool in the light. So Mama decided she would figure out a costume that she could make out of this for me. It's a straight line dress so there wasn't much for fabric. Mama thought maybe she could make me a Peach Mermaid costume. So, she started making the costume & when it was almost complete, decided that she DID NOT like it.

Ya know what she had the nerve to do??? She tore it all apart. I about died. Now what was I going to do with no costume. Well, Mama did some more thinking & decided she could make me a Fairy with Wings costume. So that's what she made. But now she's disappointed cause the glittery shiny fabric doesn't show at all in the pictures & photos don't do it justice at all. Bummer! Oh well. At least I have a costume.

So, here are pics of my costume. The first 2 pictures show my front view & a top/side view so you can see the wings.

Now Mama decided to play around with her photo software & turn me into a Fairy of different colors. The first 2 photos are my favorite, cause I glow in the dark.

GLOWING FAIRY:

Or how about purple, Mama's favorite color:

Or maybe ORANGE! Asta & Eric's favorite color:

Or mint green:

Here I look like a lemon:

Or lilac:

How bout blue???

Or chartreuse???

So pals, what do you think? What color looks best on me??? Let me know in your comments.

SQUIRREL PREZZIE & NATIONAL FERAL CAT DAY

Hey Pals,
I Butchy received this HUGE package in the mail early this week. It's my birfday prezzie from Scruffy, Lacie & Stan. See how big the box is???

Yep, it definitely says Butchy Lamb on the label too. Uhhhh, and Snickers, hehehehe! I'm supposed to share with her so I will.

Look what was inside, a huge squeaky stretchy SQUIRREL!!!

He's attached to this gizmo that is like a fishing pole. It's called the Chase-IT with Squirrel Attachment. The squirrel is attached with a velcro strap around it's neck so you can even change the toy that is hooked to the pole. The nylon rope works sort of like a bungee cord so the squirrel bounces all over the place.

Ok, haven't I sat long enough??? Give me that squirrel!

Oh yeah!!! Gotcha!!!

Mama was trying to take some videos with the camera in one hand & the pole in the other, but they didn't turn out too well. When Papa is home this weekend we'll try to get some of me playing with the toy so you can see it in action. Thanks again so much Scruffy, Lacie & Stan!!!

As some of you might have heard already, yesterday was National Feral Cat Day. This day is the annual kick-off of Allie Cat Allies' National Education Campaign. To read more about it, please click on the links above.

As you know we have the feral cat problem out here in the country around our land. Since we rescued Ruby, she is doing very well adjusting to indoor life. Her wild buddy Scuby doesn't visit us very much lately, but the black & white kitty sure does. In fact, for Feral Cat Day, we gave him a name. His name is Sylvester. We feed him daily & he is now tame around Mama & Papa. They can even call his name & he will come running up to them for attention, head rubs, massages, etc. They put out a kennel crate on the porch for him with some bankies in it to help keep him warm. Then Papa will make a waterproof shelter over the kennel for winter time to keep Sylvester warm. When Mama can save up enough money, she'll get Sylvester neutered as he is NOT neutered right now & try to get him some shots too.

Here are some pictures she took of him on Wednesday night:

He has very pretty green eyes, but they don't show very well in the photos.

We told Mama that now we need a TWEETY BIRD!!! hehehehehe!

WHEELY WEDNESDAY No 27

Hey Pals,

Bentley here today. Boy, some of the wheelies got kind of sick last week when they raided the food from the pantry. Luckily I didn't get sick. I know TT ate way too much & lost his cookies, hehehe. Bet he won't do that again.

We had another patient arrive this week at the Snitchybug Dog Hospital via our helicopter.

Nigel & I helped wheel the patient into the house up to the examination room.

Dr. Pierre came right over to check the vital signs of the patient. He asked the patient his name & he barely could spit out 'Bert'.

Dr. Pierre rushed him onto the examination table to check out his wounds. It seems Bert has had some major leg damage in the past & badly needs reconstructive surgery.

Arthritis has set in & there is major scar tissue which is causing a lot of his pain in the front left leg.

Here is a close up of the damage:

Dr. Pierre has notified Dr. Snitchybug of the situation & has her scheduling Bert for major surgery.

Whoa is me. Can you fix me Dr. Snitchybug???

Don't worry, you'll be fixed up in no time & will able to run around again with the other stuffies you live with.

Bentley signing off.

Wheely Hugs,
Bentley

IT'S RUBY TUESDAY!

Hey Pals,
Well another week has gone by & I'm still investigating more things around the house. I still don't go into the big bedroom or bathrooms or even the washroom. Mama does not know why I don't snoop around more. But I do find more cool napping spots to camouflage myself from Mama. It's fun making her look around to find me, tee hee. She is even more surprised that I sleep all night long. She figured I would roam around the house in the night time, but I don't.

Mama caught me sleeping while she was outside & took this picture through the window:

I guess I was dreaming about my wild buddies. We haven't seen Scuby for several days now but another one of my buddies does come right up to the house for feeding several times each day.

Yesterday Mama snuck out the other door & caught this picture of him eating right up at the house:

Then he ran out by the shed:

Mama was talking to him & making meow noises & he would meow back at her for quite a few minutes. Then she caught him meowing in this pic as you can see his tongue, hehehe!

We sure hope he sticks right around the house, especially since Halloween is near. We would hate for him to get hurt.

Here are a few pictures of some of our pretty trees today:

The colors won't be around much longer since we are having rain off & on this week. Uh oh, Mama told me to hurry up & get off of the puter. She needs to measure me for my Halloween costume to see how it's fitting. I can hardly wait to go to the big Halloween Pawty at the Tower Of London hosted by Lacie, Asta & Sir Eric. Here is the flyer:

Be sure to book your flight with Aire-Ruby (my dog twinnie!) if you would like to go. Just leave her a comment in her current post with your name & how many seats you need reserved. Be there or be square!!!
