WHEELY WEDNESDAY No 18

Hey Pals,
Roxy here today. As some of you have already heard, there is a disturbance in the Wirey Foxy Force. Our good pal Jackson received some disturbing results on his recent tests.
But the Wirey Foxy Force is strong. Foxies all around the globe are uniting to eliminate this disturbing force. Even the Wheelies are uniting:
What are they doing you ask? They are forming prayer circles all around the globe to push out the evil force from Jackson's body. Even the Non-Wheely Stuffies are mounting a revolt.

Today has also been declared JACKSON DAY over at Scruffy, Lacie & Stan's place. "Prayer flags have been mounted up on Mr. Everest to represent the seemingly insurmountable troubles that Jackson has already overcome and to remind us that hope is always present and prayers that his current problems can be healed."

FINALLY GOOD NEWS!!

Hey Pals,
After the long weekend wait, it's finally over. The Dogter called Mama today & I Snickers have a GOOD LIVER!!! My tests turned out well. So now that just means I have plain ol' Epilepsy. All of the other causes of seizures have been ruled out by tests. I've already started on the medication to prevent the seizures. It will take 2 weeks to get into my system so I could possibly have some seizures during this time. After the 2 weeks, if I would then get a seizure, then the dosage of medication will need to be increased a bit. With the current weight that I am, I'm right in between 2 dosage levels. So we're starting with the lower dose. Mama was laughing while she was on the phone with the Dogter cause he told her I could act a bit spacey when first starting this drug, hehehehe! Hmmmmmm, I thought I was spacey from Lacie's smoothies!!

STILL WAITING & WAITING & WAITING......

Hey Pals,
It's Snickers! Wow, 3 nights with no seizures, whew! Mama hopes I don't have anymore before I get on some medication. We're still waiting to hear from the Dogter. Since there was no phone call today, that means we wait until at least Monday now for the test results.

Nurse Asta & Nurse Lacie have been taking very good care of me. Plus they have been helping Mama out too around the house. I think Mama has been into Lacie's smoothies, there seems to be quite a few missing, hehehehe. I think us girls are going to have pizza tonight & watch some movies on the tv.

I thought I would post some of my birfday prezzie pictures to show you. I received a package on Thursday, Friday & today in the mail.

Remember Gussie & Teka sent me a gift certificate for the Dogwalkers.net site?? Well our bootiful collars arrived.
See the cute card?? I think it's even a terrier, hehehe.
Just check these out, the 2 on the left are for Butchy, the 2 on the right are mine!
The butterfly collar is even velvet, ooooooooh, ahhhhhhhhh. It will go pawfect with my burgundy dress that Mama made me last year.

WHEELY WEDNESDAY No 17

Hey Pals,
It's me Bentley! Can you see me from under the paw print sheet??
I hope you can hear me well. Mama said it's sounds like I'm mumbling. I still can't reveal myself cause I still have several surgeries to go here at Snitchybug Dog Hospital. I must say that I am feeling much better then I used to. I can also see so much better since the cataract surgery. Hmmmmm, some of the girl wheelies that live here sure are cute!

Anyway, top story of the day, Snickers is now at home resting. She had the Bile Acid Test done this morning & the test has been sent off. Now we have the long wait to hear the final results. Will it be tomorrow? or Saturday? or Monday? or Tuesday? The sooner the better, cause it drives Mama crazy waiting. She does NOT like to wait for things.

Snickers will need lots of sleep now cause the vet-pires took her blood on Wednesday, then 2 times this morning. Wonder if she has any left??

Just as Mama arrived home with Snickers, Nurse Asta:
and Nurse Lacie:
arrived at our door step to assist in taking care of Snickers. Their help is greatly appreciated. Mama is kind of a nervous nilly right now while waiting to hear the test results. Snickers wants to thank everyone for their paw crossing, prayers & kind thoughts for her. She knows the vibes will make the best result happen. Plus she'll be sipping on Nurse Lacie's smoothies to keep any seizures away while waiting the test results.

On to our next story..... I've been hearing some things on several blogs lately about a Wheely Takeover! Is this true? What has been happening in the world of Wheelies?? I've missed so much being in the hospital. Is it just RUMOR?? Hmmmmmm, better get Inspector Butcho onto the case. I did hear the other stuffies talking about this the other night:

Oh my dawgness, who is that big boy at the right??? I've never seen him before...
I've already got Inspector Butcho onto the case to find out his name. So far he won't reveal it.

SNICKERS HAD MANY SEIZURES

Hey Pals,
This is Butchy speaking today. We have postponed Wheely Wednesday until tomorrow some time. Poor Snickers had many seizures last night from 2:00-4:00AM. Mama was up all night with her trying to do what she could. She rushed her to the vet this morning & they took lots of blood & did a battery of tests on her. She is doing ok so far today. The tests done today only showed an elevation in liver enzymes. So tomorrow she will be at the vet again very early in the morning after doing a 12 hour fast & they will do a bile acid test to see what the enzyme level is before eating, and after eating. She'll be back home tomorrow afternoon. But we won't know the test results until possibly Monday or Tuesday. If the test results turn out ok, then Snickers has just NORMAL EPILEPSY & will need to start taking medication to keep seizures away. If the tests are NOT ok, the next step is an ultrasound done on the liver looking for tumors. Please cross your paws that Snickers only has the epilepsy. It is very easy to treat for the rest of her life. Mama is very very worried, but she can't let Snickers know this.

Our sweet cousin Nurse Asta is on her way here to help with nursing duties. She is an excellent nurse so we know that Snickers will be well cared for. Please also pray for our wirey pal Jackson. He also just had a ton of tests taken & tomorrow will go through more tests & need to stay overnight at the vet office. As soon as we get test results we will let you know.

PAWTY PICTURES

Hey Pals,
We finally managed to get some of our pawty pictures developed. We realized that we kept Mama so busy, she didn't have time to take very many of them. I Snickers also received a few more birfday cards too.

There were so many guests that attended the pawty thanks to Aire-Ruby bringing everyone. So many things were going on, we can't even begin to mention everything.

Of course I got to spend lots of quality time with my beau Gussie! We hung out at the fish shack for a bit.
Then Gussie decided he wanted to mud wrassel with Butchy. This is what he looked like afterwards:
Lacie brought her whole set up for smoothies so we set her up in the back of the wagon. You should see the mega blender that she brought, it's even gas powered. Be sure to check it out on her blog. Petey sure enjoyed the smoothies. He wasn't feelin' too good on Monday morning though, hehehehe.
Maggie & Mitch brought the best pup-cakes & tons of hot dogs to grill on the fire pit. At least Archie didn't get sick this time from eating so many hot dogs.
Joey & Tanner brought smores kits & even the BBQ Bible. It had the best recipe for steaks marinated in mango suds! Yum, yum!
Snowball had a blast swimming with Koi Snowball & the other koi. Do you see Koi Snowball following Snowball?? The ponds were plum full of guests cooling off since it was sooooo hot & hooomid here.

As you can see, Scruffy, Lacie & BabyStan were really enjoying the cool water.Some of the guests that don't like to swim were helping Chef Harry out by the fire pit with the food. Huskee Boy, Baby & Boy inspected all of the food to make sure it was fit to eat. Huskee even brought toys for everyone to play with.
Hmmmmm, Asta was up to something. She was giving the boys a class. You'll have to check out her blog to see what she was up to.
Remember the dirt pile we had for the digging contest?? Well this is what's left of it. I think the winners were Eric & Teka!
Mama & Papa gave me a new toy for my birfday, it's a pretty pink fish:
