This is Inspector Butcho reporting to you live from my Secret Mission location. Mama has just called me on my trusty terrier cell phone to tell me that Miss Snickers had another seizure earlier this evening. It was about the same length as the first one she had several weeks ago & Mama considers it to be a mild-medium type seizure. Everything has been written down on the seizure log we started for the vet. We're thinking it could be related to her having the Hypothyroidism. Snickers seems to be fine right now, she's sleeping next to Mama. We sure hope this isn't going to be an ongoing thing, it's very stressful for Mama as many of you other Mama's know from first hand experience. Please send some more healing doggy zen to Snickers. We'd really appreciate it!!

oh darnit. we were hoping that seizure a few weeks ago was just a one time thing. does Snickers need to get her medicine changed? we are going to have to worry about you now, kiddo. we're sending you lots and lots of curly poodle healing vibes to make those seizures stop. we want Snickers to be strong and healthy so she can be the life of the party!

Oh no, poor Snickers. I hope she is feeling ok now. My aunt Sallie (black lab) has had a few seizures lately too - they aren't sure what it is about. I sure hope that in both cases it is nothing too serious. Take care of your sister, Butchy! Sending some good thoughts, hugs & kisses. Crossing my paws!

If this is related to you thyroid problem, is there anything they can do about it? Other than treat the seizures if you have to?

Poor Miss Snickers and your mama! We were hoping that first seizure was a one-time thing! One of our predecessors, a mini Schnauzer, had seizures and our mom was always freaked out by them! We really hope the vet can figure out how to keep it from happening again! BTW, we made our reservations on Aire-Ruby.

Hey Butchy and Snickers. We're sorry to hear about the seizures... we asked dogmom what they are and she said she used to have them herself. But now she doesn't. Hopefully you can figure out what the trigger is and then take appropriate steps. They're scary for our humans to watch, but at least aren't usually life-threatening.
