We noticed that we really haven't posted any photos of Mama's African Cichlid Fishies so we thought we would show you some of them. It's hard to get good photos in the big aquarium due to lighting. The camera flash needs to be on & it's always glowing in the photos. The aquarium that these fish are in is 125 gallons. The photos only show a tiny spot in the big aquarium.
This is ZEUS! He is one of Mama's Frontosa cichlids. She has 4 of them. Zues is about 9 inches long & almost 3 years old.

The front chichlid is a Red Ruebecan & his name is Reuben. The red fish in the back is a Red Peacock & his name is Red, hehehehe.
This is a Red Empress Cichlid & his name is Red King.
This is a Moori Cichlid. 
Not all of the cichlids have names. Mama just names some of her very favorite fish. Can you believe these fish are just as bad at begging for food as the Koi Fishies & us dogs??? Hmmmmm, all pets must beg for food eh?? Do any of our pals have African Cichlids?? Let us know if you do & share some photos.We hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hey pals, congrats on your award and thank you very much for passing it onto me! J1 & J2 used to have a large aquarium with tropical fish and albino toads. The toads kept trying to escape and make their bid for freedom hopping across the carpet! J x
Me likes your fishies, they be prety colours. Me has fishies, but mostly be guppy fishies, tetras and danios. At last weekend, one guppy fishy be having about 50 babies!! Daddy putted them in the little tank and they be growing fast!

Wow, you have a big aquarium! It looks really pretty, too. My Mommie used to have African Cichlids! When she and my Daddie moved from California to Florida, she did not take them with her (she gave them away). They are really beautiful fishies.

My mom is very jealous of your mom's 125 gallon tank. My mom's tank is only 29 gallons. Mom has some albino catfish that she's had forever and the rest are mostly goarmis (2 of them are the kissing kind). My mom won't let me post pictures of her tank until it's clean. She hasn't cleaned it in a long time and says she isn't going to until it gets warmer (she had a bad experience once cleaning in the winter, really had nothing to do with the weather, but mom's paranoid now). Mom's also getting some cool new decorations to go in the tank once it's cleaned. There's a cool old truck that I can't wait to see hooked up with the bubbles.

Well the last fish Moori made Archie very nervous(as if he isn't already nervous)He thinks he looks like a real tuff guy and hopes he never meets up with him in a dark alley. I tried to explain that that wasn't too likely but......Love A+A
