Hey Pals,
We're beginning to think we live in Kansas near the Wizard of Oz, hehehehe. Our cousin Toto thinks so too. Late yesterday we had 2 tornadoes right near us. One was about 6 miles right south of us and the other was about 7-8 miles west of us. Whew, both never hit us thank dawgness. If we would have been sucked up by one, we might have landed at the Army of 4's house. Wouldn't that be cool?? Did you know that in the movie Twister, the old farm house that they show in the beginning of the movie is here in Iowa?? Mama & Papa have seen it too. It's about a 45 minute drive from here. The house is actually being remodeled on the inside now & tourists from all over stop to see the house.
This morning we did our routine inspection of the acreage that we always make after a storm & we had lots of sticks all over again. Snickers found some really nice ones that she especially thought our pal Bogart would just love!!! So these are for you Bogart:

Well, Mama didn't think the UPS man would want to deliver sticks. So maybe we'll save them in a nice pile so in case Bogart ever stops here, we can pawsonally give them to him, hehehehe.
Did we tell you that Gussie is coming here to visit US in a few weeks??? He's even bringing his Mama & Papa with him. We're so excited, we need to get our things in order to show him when he arrives. You know, like take inventory of our pine cones, make sure our walking trails have plenty of deer doo doo to smell, make sure the squirrelies are on que to come running out for us to chase. And of course, the deer must come out. Mama said that one must happen! Snickers is supposed to be helping me, but she is too worried about other things...
Snickers here, Butchy knows pawfectly well that a girl has to look just right when her boyfweind comes to visit. Especially since he is coming all of the way from Awizona. See how I look now??
Well, I must get Mama to strip my hair, grind my nails & I need to find the pawfect outfit to wear. Mama, I don't think I have anything to wear, what are you going to make me???? My birfday is even in July & Mama said we could have my pawty when Gussie is here, even though it won't actually be my birf day. Maybe I can get Mama to paint my nails pink too, hehehehehe! Do you girl doggies & girl Hammie have any good ideas for clothes to wear?? Please help me!!!

Well Mama just checked the radar & more storms are coming again, geez, what are us poor doggies supposed to do?? It's been wet outside all day & we can't even pway out there. Guess we better help Mama make supper before the storm hits. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!
