Baby Koi Named

Hey Pals,
Man have we been busy little wires! We had to guard the koi fishies really well this weekend while Mama & Papa cleaned the pond. Mama said the ponds had to be all clean for Butchy's overnight campout birfday bash. Mama did find some baby koi she didn't know were in there & also was unable to catch at least 2 koi she wanted to see. The sad news is that Koi Teka, Simba & Jaffe Boy are gone, missing. So either the evil Monster Bird or the Mini-Monster Bird got them. So out of the koi Mama caught to look at, she picked out 3 to rename those names. Then there are 12 others that she named. Some of our pals have asked how we keep track of all of the koi. Mama has a list that shows the koi's name, birth year, if she bought it or if it was born in our pond & the main coloring of the koi. She also tries to get pictures each year of each koi to watch how their colors can change as they grow. And YES, Mama can name each & every koi outside when she's looking at them in the pond. People always tease her, but why wouldn't she know their names?? they're our pets!!! The oldest koi we have are 4 1/2 years old now & the youngest are just a few months old. Some of the biggest koi hopped into the nets when Papa was trying to catch fish & they were so huge that Mama couldn't even lift them out of the net. She had to slide them out, hehehehe! Koi Sugar & Ice T are real piggies. Then silly Koi Stanley hopped into the net once so Mama scolded him for hiding on her this summer. Bet he won't do that again.
Guess we better get busy. We've been working on getting things in order for the overnight campout we're having here. Must have everything ready to go!! See everyone on Friday!!
Oh yeah, don't worry about if it gets cold, we have plug in heaters we can put into the shacks & Mama has plenty of fleece doggie coats to go around.
