Man, we've had such a busy weekend around here. We attended the Dogs With Blogs Wine & Cheese Chat Pawty! We got to chat with many of our pals all around the world! It was really fun. Sorry we missed chatting with some of you, we think the time zone difference is such a bummer.We had lots of fun outside this weekend too. It has been really hot here. It has been so warm that the pond water got to the correct temperature for the koi fishies to start breeding & boy have they been breeding! Throwing water & fishy eggs everywhere. Mama took some camera videos of the koi breeding. She'll post them in another post at a later date. Here are some pictures of me & Snickers:
Butchy: Uh oh, I hear that monster bird?
Butchy: Hey Herbie, eat your fish food!
Butchy: How many times can one fish breed??
Butchy: Don't splash me fishy...
I did get splashed big time! Some koi were breeding right by where I was at the pond edge, so I put my front legs down into the pond (and got in big trouble too!) and then the koi splashed water & eggs all over my face, man was I wet!!!Snickers: Hey Butchy, scare that Kingfisher bird away again, pronto!
Snickers: Good job Butchy, he's gone again.
Snickers: I'm hot!
We had fun chasing the Kingfisher bird away from the koi. We also had some Wood Ducks come to the ponds. No pictures though cause they come very early in the morning or late at dusk which is too dark for pictures. We also got to watch some deer. We sat out at the fish shack watching them & they didn't even care we were there. They walked right up to the ponds to get a drink of water. Here is a picture of 3 of the deer:
Mama also took some good pictures of the koi we named. In a few days we'll start posting pictures of the koi that we named after our pals. So watch for your fish!!!Uh oh, Papa went to bed, guess we better too. See ya all later!

Hi you two. Got your comment... Casper condition hasn't improved, so he is on a new medicine which should hopefully show some results towards the end of this week! His platelets are down really low. They were like 75k two weeks ago, and now they are down to 7k !!!! Yes, 7k. That is not a typo! But, he is eating well and has an appetite, so at least that is good.
