Hey Pals,
Don't I just look so cute?? Mama says I'm her little doll! hehehe! Butchy is pouting. Mama got the ol grinder out and did his nails earlier tonight and he's not a happy camper. He sure didn't pout long! Now he's been begging Mama all night to play fetch with him and his toys. He can play for hours non-stop. I love to play too, but a girl needs her beauty sleep ya know?

We're glad to hear that our pals that live in Florida are going to be safe after all!!! Now they don't have to be so scared of the storm. Bet they are relieved big time. We might have some storms coming here this weekend, watch out Butchy! Mama is taking a good friends advice and going to try giving him Benedryl right before a storm starts. If that works then she won't have to get that one drug from the vet to use on Butchy. Our pal Mackie has been taking care of a rescue boy named Ajax until he can find a new good home. Seems Ajax has a thing for Mackie (he thinks he's a girl if ya know what I mean, hehehehe!) pssssst, don't tell Mackie I told you! So if anyone knows of someone looking for a cute little boy wire, please let Mackie's Mom Melissa know as soon as possible! Here is his pic:

Albino Pheasant & Butchy the Scaredy Cat

Hi cyber Pals,
Snickers here today. I finally get to write cause Butchy is still tired out from the storms we had very early Friday morning. Mama is so tired she can barely keep her eyelids open. I asked her if she wanted some sticks to keep them open? It would be no problem to run outside and retrieve some for her. Yep, it started to thunder & lightning at 3:30AM Friday morning and of course Butchy had to hear it and got all worked up. He kept poor Mama up the rest of the morning. She didn't get any sleep. Butchy pants like a mad man when he hears thunder. Maybe Butchy & Isabella can get together when it storms!! He keeps wanting to go outside too. Don't know why, that's where the noise is. He is not scared of any other noises, don't know why the storms bother him. Mama did get some good information from the Fox Terrier Group about some medications that help dogs that are scaredy cats!! Is he like Jekyl & Hyde?? Sounds like Butchy is affected by the baarrrrometic or something like that air pressure. Kinda like humans get that have arthritis like Mama. So she's going to the vet this week to talk to him about this medicine to help Butchy. She's tried all of the natural things, they help a bit and he is not nearly as scared as he used to be when Mama first rescued him. But she hates to see him get worked up like he does.

Papa went to get a paper at the Kwik Star this morning and guess what he saw? An Albino Ring Neck Rooster Pheasant! Yep, he did! Of course he didn't have a camera on him, so no picture. Mama tried to help me find a picture of one on the web to post, but none to be found that are pure albino. Albino Pheasants are seen at least yearly here in Iowa. Not all are full albino though like this one is. Papa better keep it secret or else every pheasant hunter around here will be after it. Mama would love to get a picture of this bird.

Mama has been busy sewing again. She has 2 of these cute sleeveless fleece shirts in size XS for sale if anyone has a little doggie that needs to keep warm!! They are $14.00 for XS plus shipping. You should see what she is making now, it is hot pink!! It's a jogging jumper for the one and only Miss Sunshade! Sunshade secretly emailed Mama and asked her to make one special for her. When Sunshade gets it, she needs to send us a photo wearing it so we can see how cute she looks! You know how us girlies have to show off our clothes! Can you believe Butchy? Look at him below:


He was trying to help Mama make the outfit for Sunshade last night. Of course it doesn't look like he is much help, sleeping under the cutting table. First he thought she was making some sort of tent for him to play under. Nope, not for Butchy. So he decided to snooze........
Guess I better go see what Mama, Papa & Butchy are up to. I think I smell the grill or something.

This picture of Ladybug was taken at Snickers birthday party that Mama had here. Gee, I wonder if I Butchy will get a birthday party in October?? hint to Mama?? I will turn 6 this year. I still act like a young pup though, can't slow me down. I wonder if Mama can make me a chicken cake? or burger cake? Don't those sound yummy for the tummy?

Oh no, Mama took my picture again and told me I have to post these photos. This is a one piece pullover fleece jogging outfit that she makes for us wirey dudes! She has two of these in this fleece pattern in size medium for sale. This size fits a dog with a base of neck to base of tail measurement of 14-18" long and a chest measurement of up to 26" measured at the fullest chest measurement behind the front legs. This medium size is selling for $30 plus shipping. She wanted us to post these in case someone is interested in them before she lists them on the auction sites. (remember, Mama sells direct to anyone) She also has some really neat PINK CAMO FLEECE for the girlie dogs to make. Gloomy Days

Hi Pals,
It's so gloomy here, not much to do. Haven't gotten much rain. We could really use more cause the ground is still very dry. The only water that some of the trees get is when we go pee-pee on them, hehehe! This muggy weather has Mama sick today too. She had to take one of those migraine pills and she can barely stay awake. She' s hoping Daddy will make supper so she doesn't have to.
We are glad to report our pal Sammy and his new house mate Maxie are best buds now. Maxie is there to stay. They have lots of fun playing and running around together now and even take a few naps by each other.

How do you like my new visor? Mama makes them. Send us a comment and let us know if you wear visors or not and if anyone would ever be interested in them. Mama says they keep the sun off of our eyes when we're outside. Some doggies even wear those things called goggles. Mama doesn't know if visors would sell very well. I Butchy like mine, I even took a long nap wearing it last night, woof woof. Guess we better sign off for now, Daddy should be home soon.

No Fair! We got tagged twice!!

Hi to all of our canine cyber pals,
Before we start our tag game, we just have to tell you about Mama. Boy was she a mad mad woman this morning. Daddy went out to walk around the ponds before he left for work early this morning, and guess what he found?? One of Mama's big koi fish floating DEAD with a huge puncture wound in the top of it's head from one of those nasty MONSTER BIRDS!!!! Boy was Mama hot. She said if it was legal to kill them, they would all be dead!! Believe us, Mama can shoot straight as them come. Don't want to mess with her when she has the old black powder gun out during hunting season. Hehehehehe!


Seems that some of our friends like to tag other doggies and we don't mean dog tags!
Can you believe we even got tagged twice?? So Snickers & I will each tell five weird things about each of us. Here goes:


Butchy's 5

1. I stick to my Mama like glue. Where she goes, I go.
2. I love to play with those squeaky rubber toys and I get so worked up that I have saliva running everywhere! Grosses Mama out. She has to end up washing my toys. Did I tell you I follow Mama everywhere??
3. I have to eat cornflakes with Papa every morning and then he even gives me the last of his milk in the bowl. Mama says I get MILK LIPS like those milk advertisements. My chin hairs get all sticky. Eeewwwwwhh!
4. I love to wear Pajamas! I always try to crawl under the bankies on the couch or in bed. Even if it is just to bury my face. I like to be cozy.
5. I get really big eye boogies and Mama has to take them out of my eyes two times a day. Oh yeah, and I'm a big baby when it comes to thunder & lightning and have to stick to my Mama like glue. Did I say that already??


Snickers's 5

1. I just have to have Mama & Papa rub my back right in front of my tail. Mama calls it the But Rub Dance. I act all goofy and go from side to side arching my back. I beg for treats all of the time too.
2. I have to sit on the top edges of all of the furniture in the house. I lay in all kinds of funny positions.
3. When Mama has to reset the stuff on the phone answering machine, it talks things and I go wild talking back to it. I make these really funny weird noises. At least that's what Mama says. She says it's the only time I do that silly thing.
4. Believe it or not, I beg Butchy all of the time to kiss me. I will bat him on the head with my paws, jump on his back, etc. to get him to kiss me. If he stops, I bat him again on the head. I love to beg for treats too! I sit and shake!
5. I always have to get the last PEE in. I can go potty, then Butchy will go and even though I have already gone, I have to go over to the EXACT SPOT that Butchy had went and have to do even the tiniest dribble and I even lift my back leg. How weird is that for a girl dog??? Hehehe!

Now we have to find 5 canine pals to tag, hmmm, some of them have already been tagged, lets see:
No fair again. All of our friends have been tagged already. How fair is that??

Fish Guard Duty Tryouts

Hey Pals,
Snickers here today. Mom figured out how to get the pictures to post. She normally uses Internet Explorer and in the Blogger Help Group someone suggested using Foxfire. Works like a charm. So anyone that is still having problems, download the Foxfire Explorer.
Above is a picture of one of Gerry's pups from the Wire Fox Terrier group. He is trying out for Fish Guard Duty!!! hehehehe! Butchy said he is off to a very good start. Isn't he just so adorable? Makes Mama want to have a pup, but she said 2 dogs are enough for her to handle, especially us wild woolly wires! woof woof!!!

And here is a picture of Astu Blu sniffing watermelon! What a cutie!!!

Boy, Butchy lucked out today. It was really nice and cool this morning and then late this afternoon we had rain. There were storms, but all of them passed just south of us so Butchy didn't get worked up. Mama was relieved, she didn't have to worried about Butchy panting like a mad wire dog! hehehe!

We like to be out at the fish shack. We see and hear all kinds of critters. The bull frogs were calling to us again. The little baby ones sound so squeaky compared to the big old fat bull frogs. Herky Hawk kept flying around screeching his normal call to us. Mama thinks he has a girlfriend now and that they had babies in a tree nest behind the house. She thought she heard the babies chirping. Well, guess we better hit the hay. Need to go hide in bed, heard Mama say something about making a doggie jogging suit and ya know what that means? We have to try it on!!! ( pssst, don't tell Butchy, but Mama made him try on a black shiny sequin shirt last night that is meant for a girl dog, hehehehe! )

Keep Getting Errors Loading Pics

Have you kissed your canine buddy today??

Have you kissed your canine buddy today? Snickers just loves it when I Butchy give her kisses & licks. She even begs me to do this. She will come up to me and hit me on top of the head with her front paw to get me to kiss her. Can you believe it? It's true! Mom says Snickers is a silly girl. And speaking of silly, those tiny hummingbirds that zoom around here were begging Mom to fill their containers this morning. Mom was at the kitchen sink and a tiny female came right up to the window, spit on it and kept staring at Mom, tee hee! Stupid birds, they still had some sugar water left in 2 of the feeders. They are just darn lazy. Two feeders full, two empty. Guess they didn't want to fly around the corner of the house to the next feeder. Those birds drink the sugar water down almost as fast as Mom can fill them. The birds are so tiny, how can they hold all of that water?
Our canine pal Ladybug is getting lonesome for her mom Pat to get home. Pat is Steve's mom. Steve still can't come home from the hospital. They have him on iv antibiotics for at least 14 days. He has some kind of nasty bacteria in his blood & urine. Still running lots of tests to make sure his kidney is ok. Don't know when he will get to come home for sure. Pat says he is looking a bit better today so maybe that's a good sign. Our pal Tilly also had a good night according to her vet. She misses her Mummie too. She is at a special vet far away from her home. So everyone keep praying for both of them to get well!

Mom's Giant Lotus Flowers

Hey cyber pals,
Here is a picture of Mom's huge lotus flowers. There are only a few more buds left to open and bloom for the season. She just loves these flowers and leaves. Some of the leaves topped 28" across this summer. The lotus plants just love this horribly hot weather we have had for the past month, helps them produce more flower buds. These flowers were nearly 12 inches across. Mom even started a baby lotus plant from seed this spring, so she's anxious to see if it will bloom next year or not, might not bloom until the following year.

This picture is a doe deer that Mama saw in the yard tonight. It's kind of fuzzy cause it was getting pretty dark outside. And here is a picture of me Butchy, being a sleepy head:

I had to wake Mama & Dad up early this morning, it was thundering like crazy outside. I don't like that thunder stuff. So I panted like a wild man for a few hours before I calmed down. I just don't get why Snickers doesn't get scared during thunder storms. She can sleep through anything.

We wanted to thank everyone for their prayers for Steve and little miss Tilly. We really don't have any updates on either one of them. Still trying to figure out for sure what's going on with each of them. We just hope they have a speedy recovery. Guess we better sign off for now, time to go out and water the trees, hehehehe!

Please Pray For Steve & Cool New Shirt

Hi woofy pals,
Could all of you please say a prayer for Steve? Steve is Pat's (mom's business partner) boy. He is very very sick. They air lifted him to Mayo Clinic late yesterday afternoon. Don't know for sure yet what is wrong, but it could be something to do with his kidney and he only has one kidney. So please cross your paws and say a little prayer for him to get better soon. We're still waiting to hear how poor Tilly is doing also. We hope she is starting to recover.


How do you like this cool new shirt? I, Snickers just love it! Butchy on the other hand doesn't care for it too much, say's that he wants a manly looking shirt. Here are some other cool shirts Mom & Pat have made:

Butchy was a scaredy cat again early this morning. He woke Mama & Daddy up at 4:30AM just because he heard the thunder & lightning from the storm that had started. He also woke me up from my beauty sleep. Us fashion models need our rest! Mama said she might have to try a different natural remedy for Butchy. The one he's on apparently isn't working. He doesn't shake like a leaf anymore during storms, but pants like a rabid dog, hehehehe! Mama always says it looks like his tongue is going to fall off. He sticks to her like glue too. We'll guess we better sign off for now, Daddy should be home soon from work and Butchy is probably mad I tattled on him, woof woof!

Hi to all of our canine cyber pals!
Butchy & Snickers here. Our Mama was having trouble adding more of our friends links on our 360 page and it still won't let her add any new ones. So she decided to start us up an eBlogger blog site also. So now we have 2 blogs. We figured since most of our canine pals have blogs on here, we might as well join the pack!
